As a sole representative of an overseas business you may be able to come to the UK under this immigration route if you are:

• the sole representative of an overseas company, intending to set up a wholly owned subsidiary or register a UK branch for an overseas parent company; or
• an employee of an overseas newspaper, news agency or broadcasting organisation who is being posted on a long-term assignment as a representative of your overseas. An overseas media company can have more than one representative in the UK at the same time.
  In addition to the above one of the additional requirements is that the applicant must recruited and employed outside the UK.

The employer must have its headquarters and principal place of business outside the UK, and where the applicant is seeking entry as a sole representative, the company has no other branch, subsidiary or representative in the UK.
